We would like to highlight the Sterling scholar at San Juan High School. So we interviewed the students that are representing our High School.
We interviewed Ashley Berrett who is a sterling scholar candidate for drama. We asked her a few questions about why she wanted to do sterling scholar and why she chose drama.
1. What is sterling scholar? Sterling scholar is a competition between students that excel in different categories. These students display excellence in scholarship, leadership, citizenship and their categories. They then compete for the state title of sterling scholar and if they win they can be awarded with scholarships. 2. What made you want to be a sterling scholar? Ever since I was a freshman I wanted to do sterling scholar, due to the opportunity for scholarships, and I also wanted to prove to other and myself that I could excel like that. 3. Why did you choose drama? I chose drama because it is my passion. I love acting, singing, directing, and teaching. I also chose drama because I am very qualified. I have lots of experience in this area and feel like I could do well in representing our school at the competition in drama. |
