- In the past few weeks the drama program has competed in the region and state drama competitions. Regionals were held in Manti on March 22nd-23rd. On the first day of regionals there were the musical scenes and the one acts performed. On the second day, there was everything from contemporary scenes to pantomime scenes performed. All of the scenes that we performed were moved onto state except for three.
- State was held from April 5th-6th. We arrived in Richfield and watched some of our fellow competitors perform their one acts. Then we retired to our hotel to prepare for the long day ahead. San Juan High preformed contemporary scenes, classical scenes, dramatic monologues, and musical performances. There were a few scenes that got straight superiors such as, Emma Ward and Jordan Clinger, who performed a musical scene, Rachel Berrett and Ashlyn Bake, who performed a classical scene and, Skyler Jensen, who also performed a musical scene. Congratulations to all of the people who participated and did well in the competitions.
